Materials:Tools:
1 fancy bookmarkCrimping Pliers
5 eye pinsTwirly Wirlies
3 flat puffy square cats eye beadsWire Cutters
1 penguin glass bead
2 6mm bicone glass crystals
1 head pin
1 small star bead cap
1 plain metal bead
6 strong jump rings
our bookmark was made with black beads

Making the components
Pick up the head pin and thread on:
- a small star bead cap
- a glass penguin bead ("bottom down")
- a plain metal bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Put aside

Pick up one of the eye pins, and thread on a 6mm bicone glass crystal. Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat this process, so you have two crystal links. Put aside.

Pick up another eye pin, and thread on one of the flat puffy square cats eye beads. Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat this process another 2 times, so you have three cats eye links. Put aside.

Putting it together
Open a jump ring and thread through the loop in the top of the bookmark. Whilst it is still open, thread on one of the cats eye links. Close securely.

Open another jump ring, and thread through the other loop in the cats eye link. Also thread on a crystal link. Close securely.

Repeat process, alternating between crystal links and cats eye links, until you have used all of your links. Open the last jump ring, and join it to the last cats eye link. Whilst it is still open, thread on the penguin drop. Close securely. Your bookmark is now ready to use!
