Blue Heart & Copper Chain Drop Necklace

Materials:	Tools:
3 small heart glass beads	Wire Cutters
5 small barrel metal beads	Crimping Pliers
4 8mm round faceted glass crystals	Twirly Wirlies
11 plain metal beads
3 large star bead caps
7 eye pins
5 head pins
1 heart toggle clasp
3 jump rings
60cm small drawn cable chain
note: quantities in indicated make a 'standard' necklace (our necklace is 60cm). Our necklace was made with copper coloured findings and purple beads. This necklace is not particularly difficult, however it is hard to follow written instructions. It is recommended that the image may be easier to follow than the instructions

Making the components
Pick up the chain and cut:
- 8 x 5cm lengths
- 5 x 3cm lengths

Put aside. Pick up an eye pin, and thread on:
- a plain metal bead
- an 8mm round faceted glass crystal
- a plain metal bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat the process another 3 times, until you have 4 crystal links. Put aside.

Pick up an eye pin, and thread on:
- a large star bead cap
- a small heart glass bead (base down)
- a plain metal bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat the process another 2 times, until you have 3 heart links. Put aside.

Pick up a head pin, and thread on:
- a small barrel crown metal bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat the process another 4 times, until you have 5 metal bead drops.

Putting it all together
Pick up one of the 5cm lengths of chain. Open the last loop and attach to one of the crystal links, close securely.

Pick up the next 5cm length of chain and open the first loop. Attach to the other side of the crystal link, and close securely. Open up the last loop in that length of chain and attach to the top of one of the heart links. Close securely.

Pick up the next 5cm length of chain and open the first loop. Attach to the other side of the heart link, and close securely. Open up the last loop in that length of chain and attach to one of the crystal links. Close securely.

Pick up the next 5cm length of chain and open the first loop. Attach to the other side of the crystal link, and close securely. Open up the last loop in that length of chain and attach to the top of one of the heart links (we will call this heart link the center heart link). Close securely.

Pick up another one of the 5cm lengths of chain. Open the last loop and attach to one of the crystal links, close securely.

Pick up the next 5cm length of chain and open the first loop. Attach to the other side of the crystal link, and close securely. Open up the last loop in that length of chain and attach to the top of one of the heart links. Close securely.

Pick up the next 5cm length of chain and open the first loop. Attach to the other side of the heart link, and close securely. Open up the last loop in that length of chain and attach to one of the crystal links. Close securely.

Pick up the next 5cm length of chain and open the first loop. Attach to the other side of the crystal link, and close securely. Open up the last loop in that length of chain and attach to the top of the centre heart link from before. Close securely.

You should now have the basis of the necklace, with a centre heart link that has two chains coming from the top, and none from the bottom.

Pick up one of the metal bead drops, and join to the last loop in one of the 3cm lengths of chain. Repeat this process for all 5 metal bead drops.

Open a jump ring, and whilst it is open, thread through the first loop in all 5 lengths of 3cm chain. Also thread it through the bottom loop of the centre heart link. Close securely.

Open up another jump ring and thread on the bar part of the toggle clasp. Attach to the end of the necklace and close securely. Open up the last jump ring and thread on the heart part of the toggle clasp. Attach to the other end of the necklace and close securely. Your necklace is now ready to wear!
