Brown Leather Bracelet

Materials:Tools:
leather [30cm]Twirly Wirlie Pliers
2 leather endsCrimping Pliers
1 parrot claspScissors
clear nail polish (or glue)
5 strong jump rings
small bent tubes [10]
leather tubes [3]
small wooden beads [12, available in store]
note: quantities in [square brackets] indicate
how many of that particular material we used.
Depending on what size bracelet you're making,
you might need more or less.

Take piece of leather and dab a bit of clear nail polish onto the end. Crimp the leather end over the top of the nail polish. Thread a small bent tube on to hide the leather end. Begin your pattern:

- a small wooden bead
- a small bent tube
- a small wooden bead
- a small bent tube
- a small wooden bead
- a leather tube

Repeat pattern another 3 times, on the last set don't put on a leather tube. Finish with the small wooden bead, followed by another small bent tube. Check the length of the leather and cut off any excess leather using your scissors. Dab a little clear nail polish on the end and crimp the second leather end onto the leather. Pick up a jump ring and open it (as they are strong, you will need two sets of pliers, your crimping pliers and twirly wirlies will be fine). While it's open, thread on the parrot clasp and join it to one of the leather ends. On the other end of the bracelet, open a jump ring up, thread it onto the leather end and close securely. Open one of the left-over jump rings up and thread it onto the jump ring that's already on the bracelet. Repeat with the other two to create an extension chain.
