Christmas Wreath Earrings

Materials:	Tools:
2 diamante ear wires	Crimping Pliers
2 earring hoops	Wire Cutters
80cm x 28 gauge beading wire	super glue
14 green leaf glass beads	Scissors
16 5mm green round beads
18 x 5/0 red seed beads
18 5/0 x green seed beads
60cm red ribbon
note: we used silver coloured findings for our earrings

Take an earring hoop and gently open by pulling apart at the join. Thread on to it:
- a 5mm green glass bead
- a green leaf bead

Continue until you have put on 8 green (5mm) glass beads. Place a dab of superglue on the end of the hoop wire and slot it back into the join. Gently press the join down with your crimping pliers.

Cut a 400mm length of wire. Twitch one end onto the join area of the earring hoop. Thread on one green 5/0 seed bead. Wrap the wire around the earring hoop wire - between the first green 5mm glass bead and the first green glass leaf. Thread on one 5/0 red seed bead. Wrap the wire between the next two beads. Continue until you've gone all the way around the earring hoop. Twitch off the wire at the join.

Do the same for the next earring "wreath".

Cut a 300mm piece of ribbon. Tie a bow at the top of the "wreath" by wrapping around the tip of the earring hoops. Open the loop on the bottom of the earwire, and hook into the loop on the top of the earring hoop. Repeat to finish off your second earring.
