  1. How do I place an order?
    Once you have chosen a product that you want, choose the packet size, colour and/or shape (if applicable) and the quantity, and then click on 'add to cart'. You can then continue shopping or click on the 'cart contents' tab in the top right hand corner to view the contents of your cart. A postage estimate can be found below the cart (enter your post code and click 'update' to get an estimate on registered post). To finalise your purchases click on the 'checkout' button. At this stage you will be invited to:

    Sign Up
    Log In
    Proceed to Checkout without an account

    We recommend that you sign up for an account. By signing up, you never need to re-enter your address details again, you can login to check order status and you are enrolled in our FREE Eureka! Gold Points Program (see below for more information).

    Once you have signed up (or proceeded without signing up), you will need to select your postage method. If you have any special requests regarding your order, please record them in the comments box. Click 'continue' to view payment information. Verify that you have all the products you want and check all your address details. Next, select your payment type:

    Credit Card Purchase - This is the fastest, most secure option. We use well known payment gateway eWay to secure process credit cards. Your credit card is not charged until your order has been processed - this allows us to easily decrease postage charges if possible.
    Phone Your Credit Card Information - If you are uncomfortable with sending your credit card details online, please select this option. Please note however that we do our manual transactions via a separate secure site on the internet. You will be provided with phone information on the final success page. Please ensure you phone in your credit card details ASAP, as we cannot begin to process your order until we have this information.
    Bank Transfer Payment - This option takes longer, as we must wait until we receive your payment before we can begin to process your order. Please make sure you transfer your payment straight after placing your order, so that we can send you order ASAP. You will need to use your last name as the reference. Bank details will be shown on the final success page.
    To be used from Eureka! Gold Points - You will need to select another payment option as well if your Eureka! Gold Point balance doesn't cover the total order.

    Note that international customers will only be able to pay via credit card securely over the internet at checkout.

    Click the 'continue' button to proceed to the next page. Verify all the details once more before clicking once on the 'confirm order' button to confirm your order. You will then be shown a screen to confirm the order has been placed and an order confirmation will be emailed to the email address you supplied. If we have any problems with stock, we will email you, otherwise your order will be posted as soon as possible. If you choose to sign up for an account, you can login at any time to see the status of your order.

  2. What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) and bank transfer. Credit card payments are accepted in two ways - securely over the internet using well known payment gateway eway, or via phone (see below for more information). Please note that if you choose to pay via bank transfer, your order may take longer to process (payments normally take 24-48 hours to transfer to our account, although they can be instant for online CBA to CBA transfers), as we cannot begin to process your order until your payment reaches our bank account.

    Please ensure that you transfer your payment straight after placing your order, so that we can get your order out to you ASAP. If we have not received your payment after 7 days, your order will be put back on the shelves. Bank transfer details will be shown on the payments page, after you have clicked on 'proceed to checkout' button. Note that international customers will only have the option of paying via credit card securely over the internet at checkout.

  3. Is it safe to use my credit card?
    Yes! We use the same type of security that most online companies use - 128bit SSL Encryption. This means that your credit card details will never be compromised. When doing any online ordering, always ensure that there is a little gold padlock in the bottom right corner - this means the site is safe. Further, as we use well known payment gateway eWay to process your credit card payments. Because of this, we never see your credit card in full, making the process even more secure.

  4. Are my personal details secure?
    Yes! Eureka! Beads adheres to the strictest privacy laws - we will only use the details you provide to collect and process your order, we will not pass the details onto any third parties. Please see our privacy policy for more information.

  5. I still don't want to use my credit card online, is there another way I can order?
    Of course! We want your Eureka! Beads shopping experience to be as easy and as enjoyable as possible and so we offer a couple of ways to purchase your beading supplies. Other than using the online system, you can also pay via bank deposit or phone in your credit card details.

    To do this, proceed to checkout as per normal. Under payment method, choose

    'Bank Transfer Payment'
    Click 'continue', verify your details and click 'confirm order'. Once your order has been confirmed, please transfer your payment:

    Online - If you have signed up for internet banking, you will be able to transfer your payment from the comfort of your own home. Simply go to your banks website and follow their instructions. All the details you will need are on the final success page (and are also emailed to you). Please contact your bank if you need more information.
    At your local bank branch - If you don't have internet banking set up, you will need to go into you local bank branch and do a bank transfer 'over-the-counter'. All the details you will need are on the final success page (and are also emailed to you). If you pay at your local branch, you may find that you are unable to use your last name as a reference. If this is the case, please email us, so that we know to look out for your payment.

    or 'Phone in your credit card info' - Please note however that we do our manual transactions via a separate secure site on the internet
    Click 'continue', verify your details and click 'confirm order'. Once your order has been confirmed, please:

    Phone in your details - Ring us on (03) 59411671 (during business hours, 10am-5pm, 7 days a week), with your name, order number (as displayed in the order confirmation email), order total, name as it appears on your credit card, credit card type and expiry date.

    Please ensure you send us your credit card details or deposit your payment into our account ASAP, as we cannot begin to process your order until these are received. If we have not received your payment after 7 days, your order will be put back on the shelves. Alternatively, you can come and visit our shop in Toomuc Valley (please note that some specials available on the website are not available in store).

  6. How much is postage?
    Postage is calculated by weight and is not added until you are ready to checkout. If you're within Australia, 3 options are available:

    - Local Pickup (conditions apply)
    - Express Post
    - Registered Post

    To get an estimate as you're going, click on the 'cart contents' tab in the top right hand corner of the page. Under your cart contents, there is a postage estimate. Enter your postcode and click 'update' to get an estimate on registered post. Note that because some products are bulky, they have an indivual postage fee - this fee is displayed on the detailed product information page. This fee is added to any postage fees that occur for other items in your order. If possible, we will combine postage when processing - any savings will be passed onto you in the form of store credit.   7. I don't want this product any more. Can I return it?
    As long as it isn't a sale item, we will accept returns for 14 days after the date of purchase. Unfortunately discounted products cannot be refunded or returned. We cannot refund postage charges on delivery and return of goods. Also note that a 25% fee applies to 'change of mind' returns. Please see our return policy for more information.

  9. Can I buy wholesale?
    Yes, we supply almost all our products at wholesale rates. To make wholesale prices available to everyone, customers wishing to purchase wholesale lots can either browse through the 'wholesale' category, or search the site for 'wholesale' products. Two options are available:

    - Bulk Quantities - These packs contain upwards of 100 pieces and have savings of up to 80% when purchased in a bulk bag.

    - Multiple Quantities - For products not available in bulk bags, we offer multiple quantity discounts, with savings of up to 50%. To receive the saving you need to order the minimum amount of the same product (this means same colour, shape and style), as specified on the product page.

    If you are a member, Eureka! Gold Points can be redeemed for these items, but Eureka! Gold Points are not earned on bulk/multiple quantities (see below for more information on Eureka! Gold Points). If you have any more queries, please email us at info@eurekabeads.com.au.

  10. Can I use my Eureka! Beads Loyalty Bag online?
    No, the Eureka! Beads Loyalty Bag is available for our Toomuc Valley and Cheltenham stores only. Online customers who become members can enjoy the benefits of our Eureka! Beads Gold Points Program.

  11. What is the Eureka! Gold Point Program?
    Our Eureka! Gold Point Program is as simple as it sounds. While shopping at Eureka! Beads you will earn Eureka! Gold Points for the money you spend. For every $10 you spend, you will earn $1 worth of Eureka! Gold Points. You must be a member (i.e. you need to sign up for a free account) to receive Gold Points. Gold Points are not earnt on products that are on special (i.e. products that have been discounted).

    These Gold Points can be used whenever you place an order, to pay (or partially pay) for your purchase. Eureka! Gold Points are not awarded for postage.

    Eureka! Gold Points are not available to use until your order has been sent. To check you Eureka! Gold Points balance at any time, simply log into your account. The Eureka! Beads Point Program began on 22/07/2006. All purchases made after this date will earn points. We cannot credit you with Eureka! Gold Points if you choose not to sign up for an account.

  12. How do I redeem my Eureka! Gold Points?
    If you have a balance in your Eureka! Gold Points Account, you can use those points to pay for purchases made at Eureka! Beads.

    During the checkout process, on the same page that you select a payment method, there will be a box to enter the amount of points you wish to redeem. Enter the amout of points you would like to spend or tick the box to use all available points. Please note, you will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough in your Eureka! Gold Points Account to cover the cost of your purchase.

    Continue the checkout procedure and at the confirmation page you'll notice that the value of the points redeemed will have been credited towards your order. Once you confirm your order, your Eureka! Gold Points account will be updated and the points used deducted from your balance.

    Note that any purchase made by redeeming points will only be rewarded with additional points for the amount spent other then points.

  13. What are the Eureka! Gold Points' Conditions of Use?
    - Eureka! Gold Points are only available to registered Eureka! Beads member's. This means you must create a free account with us to start earning points. Gold Points cannot be credited to customers who have made past orders without signing up for an account.
    - Eureka! Gold Points can only be collected and used with online purchases (i.e. these points are not valid in our Toomuc Valley store)
    - Eureka! Gold Points are non-refundable and can't be transferred between member's.
    - Eureka! Gold PointsPoints are non-transferable or exchangeable for cash under any circumstances.
    - Eureka! Gold Points will not be refunded for any cancelled orders.
    - When buying with Eureka! Gold Points, you will still have to select another payment method if there is not enough in your Eureka! Gold Account to cover the cost of your purchase.
    - When calculating the amount of points earned, postage fees are excluded.
    - Points are not earnt on products already on special (i.e. discounted products) or bulk/multiples-purchases.

  14. Where can I learn to use your products?
    We want to make sure that all of our visitors know how to use our products, and that everyone enjoys using them. We run beaded jewellery making classes at our Toomuc Valley store, ranging from basic beginners, all the way through to advanced. To those of our visitors that can't make it to our shop, we have FREE beading instructions.

  16. Where is your Toomuc Valley shop?
    In Toomuc Valley! We can be found in Toomuc Valley, just out of Pakenham, 45 minutes south east of Melbourne. Take the Monash Freeway out of Melbourne, towards Warragul. Turn left onto Toomuc Valley Road, just before coming into Pakenham. Eureka! Beads is 2 kilometres down on the right hand side.   17. Are sales that are available on the website available in store?
    No, for the most part, sales found at www.eurekabeads.com.au are for our online customers only. From time to time, our shop in Toomuc Valley will have sales that our online customers cannot get to and in return, we offer internet-only sales for our online customers. To receive emails about sales both on the website and in our Toomuc Valley shop, please join the Eureka! Beads mailing list.

  18. Do you have a printed catalogue?
    Due to the fact that our stock is constantly changing, we don't have a printed catalogue for sale. We do, however, have a free downloadable catalogue that you are able to print for your own use. Please note that the catalogue is only valid at time of printing - it is best to check back at the site to get the most up to date information.
