MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • 1 loop of Bracelet Memory Wire
  • 40cm x 28 gauge beading wire
  • 3 x 8mm jump rings
  • 72 x 3mm plain metal beads
  • 8 small star bead caps
  • 5 small Red Jingle Bells
  • 1 large red jingle bell
  • 10 x 7mm dark siam red helix crystals
  • 50 x 4mm chrysolite green round crystals
  • 4 x 12mm white glass pearl beads
  • 1 x 50mm eye pin

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Twirly Wirlie Pliers
  • Crimping Pliers
  • Memory Wire Cutters

INSTRUCTIONS

Take your piece of memory wire and turn a loop on one end. Starting from the other end thread on:

  • a silver 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 7mm dark siam red helix crystal
  • a silver 3mm plain metal bead
  • a small red jingle bell
  • a silver 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 7mm dark siam red helix crystal
  • a silver 3mm plain metal bead
  • a small star bead cap
  • a 12mm white glass pearl
  • a small star bead cap

Repeat this pattern another 3 times, then add:

  • a silver 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 7mm dark siam red helix crystal
  • a silver 3mm plain metal bead
  • a small red jingle bell
  • a silver 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 7mm dark siam red helix crystal
  • a silver 3mm plain metal bead

Using your memory wire cutters, leave a gap of 10mm and cut off the excess wire. Loop over the end of the memory wire, so that none of the beads will fall off.

Pick up your piece of 28 gauge wire and wrap it through the two loops on the memory wire. Then thread on:

  • a silver 3mm plain metal bead
  • a chrysolite green 4mm round faceted crystal

Repeat until all the crystals have been threaded on and finish with a silver 3mm plain metal bead. Carefully wrap the green and silver strand around the memory wire until you reach the other end of the wreath. Pull through the loops you created in your memory wire and tie off.

Open up one of the jump rings. As they are quite strong, you will need to use two sets of pliers (we used a set of crimping pliers and a set of twirly wirlies). Whilst it is open, thread it through the loops you created in the memory wire and close securely. Open up another jump ring, whilst it is open thread it through the last jumpring added and through the loop on the large red bell and close securely.

Finally, open one more jump ring and hook it through the loops created in your memory wire (this is to attach your hook to). Using your eye pin, fashion a hook and connect to the top jump ring. Your Christmas Decoration is now ready to hang on the tree.
