Red Memory Wire Necklace

Materials:	Tools:
60cm tigertail	Twirly Wirlie Pliers
35 plain metal balls	Wire Cutters
2 small crimps	Crimping Pliers
5 strong jump rings	Memory Wire Cutters
1 parrot clasp
7 8mm round faceted glass crystals
7 4mm bicone glass crystals
3 4mm bicone AB glass crystals
3 head pins
1 eye pin
2 small decorative metal beads
7 links small twisted loop chain (approx 2.8cm)
1.5 loops necklace memory wire
18 metal tubes

Pick up one of the head pins. Thread on: a 4mm bicone glass crystal, followed by a plain metal ball. Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Pick up the eye pin. Thread on: a plain metal ball, followed by a 4mm AB bicone glass crystal, followed by a plain metal ball. Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Open one of the loops of the eye pin and join it onto the loop in the head pin you just did. Join the other end of the eye pin onto the middle link in the chain. Pick up a new head pin and thread on:

- a 4mm bicone glass crystal
- a plain metal ball
- a 4mm AB bicone glass crystal
- a plain metal ball

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat with the last head pin, so that you have two of these drops. You should now have 3 drops - 2 shorter, head-pin-only drops and 1 longer, head-pin-and-eye-pin drop join to the chain. Put these aside. Pick up the memory wire and twirl one end into a loop. Thread a small crimp onto the tigertail, take the tigertail through the memory wire loop and then back through the crimp. Pull up tightly and squish the crimp down. Bring the memory wire and tigertail together. Over the two strands, thread a plain metal ball, followed by:

- a metal tube
- a plain metal ball
- a 8mm round faceted glass crystal
- a plain metal ball

Repeat pattern another 2 times. Now split the strands up. On the memory wire, thread:

- a metal tube
- a plain metal ball
- a 4mm bicone glass crystal
- a plain metal ball
- one of the head-pin-only drops
- a plain metal ball
- a 4mm bicone glass crystal
- a plain metal ball
- a metal tube

On the tigertail, thread:

- a metal tube
- a plain metal ball
- a metal tube
- a small decorative metal bead
- metal tube

Bring the memory wire and the tigertail together and thread over the two strands:

- one end link of the chain (with the eye-pin-head-pin drop attached)
- a plain metal ball
- a 8mm round faceted crystal
- a plain metal ball
- the other end link of the chain

Separate the strands again. On the memory wire, thread:

- a metal tube
- a plain metal ball
- a 4mm bicone glass crystal
- a plain metal ball
- one of the head-pin-only drops
- a plain metal ball
- a 4mm bicone glass crystal
- a plain metal ball
- a metal tube

On the tigertail, thread:

- a metal tube
- a plain metal ball
- a metal tube
- a small decorative metal bead
- metal tube

Bring the memory wire and tigertail back together. Over the two strands, thread:

- a plain metal ball
- a 8mm round faceted glass crystal
- a plain metal ball
- a metal tube

Repeat pattern another 2 times. Finish by threading a plain metal ball over the two strands. Cut the memory wire with your memory wire cutters (leave 15mm of wire, so that you have room to loop it). Twirl a loop in your memory wire, like you did at the beginning. Thread a small crimp onto the tigertail, take the tigertail through the memory wire loop and then back through the crimp. Pull up tightly, squish the crimp down and cut off excess wire. Open one of the jump rings up (they are quite strong, you will need to use two sets of pliers, your crimping pliers and your twirly wirlies will be fine). Thread the jump ring through the parrot clasp and through one of the loops at the end of the memory wire. Open up another jump ring and thread it through the other loop on the end of the memory wire. Open one of the left-over jump rings up and thread it onto the jump ring already on the necklace. Repeat with the other two to create an extension chain.
