Purple Star Drop Necklace

Materials:	Tools:
11 star glass beads	Twirly Wirlie Pliers
36cm small AB glass chip	Crimping Pliers
1 flower toggle clasp	Wire Cutters
6 jump rings
19 plain metal beads
3 head pins
1 5-strand rope diamond drops
2 small tube crimps
55cm tigertail
2 filigree metal tubes
note: quantities in indicated make a 'standard' necklace (our necklace is approx 45cm). Our necklace was made with silver coloured findings and purple beads.

Pick up a head pin and thread on:
- a plain metal bead
- a star glass bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat the process another 2 times, until you have 3 star drops.

Open the loop you just made on one of the star drops, and attach to the first loop in the bottom of the 5 strand rope diamond drop. Close the loop securely. Open the loop the you made on the second star drop, attach to the middle loop of the rope diamond drop and close securely. Open the loop in the last star drop and attach to the last loop of the rope diamond drop and close securely. Open up one of the jump rings, and join to the top loop of the 5 strand rope diamond drop. Close securely and put aside.

Pick up the length of tigertail and thread on a small crimp. Thread the tigertail through a jump ring, then back through the crimp. Pull up tightly, squish the crimp down and cut off any excess tigertail. Thread on a filigree metal tube. Now, thread on:

- a 4cm section of small glass AB chip
- a plain metal bead
- a star glass bead
- a plain metal bead

Repeat this process another 3 times, so that you have 4 star glass beads on your strand. Thread on a 2cm section of small glass AB chip, then thread through the jump ring in the top of the rope diamond drop made earlier. Thread on another 2cm section of small glass AB chip, followed by:

- a plain metal bead
- a star glass bead
- a plain metal bead
- a 4cm section of small glass AB chip

Repeat this process another 3 times, so that you now have 8 star glass beads threaded directly onto the strand (plus the 3 coming off the rope diamond drop).

Finish by threading on another filigree metal tube, followed by a crimp. Thread the tigertail through a jump ring, then back through the crimp. Pull up tightly, squish the crimp down and cut off any excess tigertail.

Open up a jump ring, and thread on the bar part of the toggle clasp. Whilst it is still open, thread on the jump ring from one end of the necklace. Close the jump ring securely. Open up another jump ring, and whilst it is open, thread on the flower part of the toggle clasp, and the jump ring on the other end of the necklace. Close securely. Your necklace is now ready to wear!
