  • 1 large filigree angel wings
  • 14cm x 26 gauge beading wire

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Twirly Wirlie Pliers
  • Wire Cutters

INSTRUCTIONS

Pick up one of your head pins and thread onto it:

  • a clear AB 6mm bicone glass crystal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a clear AB 4mm bicone glass crystal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a clear AB 4mm bicone glass crystal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a clear AB 3mm bicone glass crystal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a clear AB 3mm bicone glass crystal bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat until you have made 7 crystal head pins.

Pick up on of the eye pins and thread onto it:

  • 3 clear AB 4mm bicone glass crystal beads
  • a rectangular decorative metal bead
  • 3 clear AB 4mm bicone glass crystal beads

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Gently bend the eye pin into a circle, so that the two loops overlap.

Pick up another eye pin and gently open the loop on the end. Thread on all 7 of your crystal head pins, then close the loop up. Next, thread on the fairy skirt bead cap, with the opening down, so that it covers the eye pin and the top of all the crystal head pins. Follow by threading through both ends of the crystal eye pin circle. Next, thread on the 12mm round glass crystal bead and finish with the 10mm rondelle diamante spacer.

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies.

Pick up your angel wings and bend them slightly so that they curve slightly. Pick up your length of beading wire and wrap it around the 'neck' section of your crystal angel (between the 12mm round glass crystal bead and the crystal eye pin circle). Then weave the beading wire in and out of the holes in the centre of the angel wings. Wrap the wire around the top of one of the crystal head pin 'legs', then finish by twisting the wire off against itself and cutting off any extra wire.

To finish, attach the last eye pin to the loop at the top of the angel, and gently bend over to create a hook. Your Christmas angel is now ready for the tree!
