Multi Strand Blue Heart Chain Necklace: Project Instructions

MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • 1 parrot clasp
  • 4 x 6mm strong jump rings
  • 2 plain metal beads
  • 1 eye pin
  • 1 large heart glass bead
  • 2 x 5cm lengths of chain, 2 x 22cm lengths of chain, 2 x 30cm lengths of chain

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Crimping Pliers
  • Wire Cutters
  • Twirly Wirlies

INSTRUCTIONS

The drop

Thread onto the eye pin:

  • a plain metal bead
  • a large heart glass bead
  • a plain metal bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Put aside.

The necklace

Open up one of the strong jump rings. Thread through the top loop of the heart drop. Whilst the ring is still open, also thread on the two 22cm pieces of medium heavy oval loop chain. Close the jump ring securely.

Open up another strong jump ring. Thread through the bottom loop of the heart drop. Whilst the ring is still open, also thread on the two 5cm pieces of chain, and the two 30cm pieces of chain. Close the jump ring securely.

Open up another strong jump ring. Thread through the other end of one of the 22cm pieces of chain. Whilst it is open, also thread it through the other end of one of the 30cm pieces of chain. Close the jump ring securely.

Open up the last strong jump ring. Thread through the other end of the second 22cm piece of chain. Whilst it is open, also thread it through the second 30cm piece of chain. Finally, thread it through the parrot clasp. Close the jump ring securely. Your necklace is now ready to wear!
