Postage & Handling

Postage and handling is calculated at checkout.  All of our postage options are based on weight and are sent through Australia Post.  Note that although our store is open 6 days a week, Australia Post only processes orders Monday to Friday. We endeavour to post all orders paid for before 2pm same day - this means that (depending on your postage choice), you could have your order as quick as tomorrow.

For an estimate on postage as you're shopping, once you have products in your cart, simply click on 'my cart' (top right-hand corner) and scroll down the screen until you reach the 'postage estimate'. Choose your country, enter your state and postcode (if applicable) and click 'get a quote' to receive an estimate on the postage options available to your country.

For our Australian customers, we offer a variety of different postage options. Note that bulky goods incur an individual postage fee (mainly just the display necks) - this fee is displayed on the detailed product page. This fee is added to any postage fees that occur for other items in your order. If possible, we will combine postage when processing - any savings will be passed onto you in the form of store credit.

Due to the rising cost of international postage, we only post to Australia (as per above) and New Zealand - we do not post to the USA, Canada, the UK etc.

 

Local: Pickup from Our Toomuc Valley Store

Local customers can choose to pick up their order from our Toomuc Valley store and save postage costs. Payment must be received before orders are packed - cash on pickup is not available. When your order is ready to be picked up, we will email you to let you know - please note that although this normally takes only a few hours, during busy periods it can take up to 48 hours. Photo ID of the person who paid for the order must be shown at time of pickup unless prior arrangements have been made. If the order has not been picked up within 7 days, the order will be cancelled and your money will be refunded minus a 25% restocking fee. Our shop is open 10am-5pm, Monday to Saturday (closed Sundays). Please see our About Us page for more information on how to get here.  Note that because all orders are packed at our Toomuc Valley Store, pickup is not available from our Cheltenham Store.

 

Within Australia: Australia Post Parcel Post

This is the basic service offered by Australia Post, and often takes a few days (Australia Post advises "delivery in 2 or more business days after posting" for metro areas and considerably longer for country/interstate destinations).  Whilst orders sent regular parcel post are trackable, please note that Australia Post does not offer compensation for packages that go missing, and as such we always recommend parcel post with signature AND extra cover as as the safest option.  If you are having an issue with an order that hasn't arrived, please contact us and we will liase with Australia Post on your behalf as best we can. There are a few options with parcel post:

"SOD" (signature on delivery) - $2.95 - orders sent this way require a signature, so can't be "safe dropped".

"Extra Cover" - $1.50 per $100 order value - orders with extra cover are fully insured and compensation up to the value of your order is available if it goes missing.

Eureka! Beads reserves the right to modify any postage charges applied at checkout. Our online cart will only calculate post for orders up to 5kg - if your order is over 5kg, you can still choose parcel post, however we will need to manually add the postage rate.

 

Within Australia: Australia Post Express

This is a premium service offered by Australia Post, and is usually very fast (although please note that not all orders arrive "next day", it depends on your postcode).  Whilst orders sent express post are trackable, please note that Australia Post does not offer compensation for packages that go missing, and as such we always recommend parcel post with extra cover as as the safest option.  If you are having an issue with an order that hasn't arrived, please contact us and we will liase with Australia Post on your behalf as best we can.

Local: Postage Cap for VIC1 Residents

Customers who are lucky enough to reside in the "VIC1" region as per Australia Post's definition can benefit from the postage cap that Australia Post puts in place. Applicable for orders being sent to the following postcodes: 3000-3200, 3335-3341, 3425-3443, 3750-3811, 3910-3920, 3926-3944, 3972-3978, 3980-3983, 3980-3983, 8000-8999. Order needs to fit into a box within Australia Post's limitations.

International Orders: New Zealand Only

Postage is automatically calculated at checkout - however, we always double check it manually.  Due to the rising cost of international postage, we only post to Australia (as per above) and New Zealand.  Packages sent via AusPost Airmail can expect to arrive in your country 3-10 working days after your order has been sent. Please refer to the 'postage estimator' for an accurate estimate on the postage costs to your country.

Although rarely applicable, international customers should note that they are responsible for any customs charges. Please consult your country's customs information for more details.
